Over the last years, Europe faces many challenges in connection with the integration of refugees and migrants. In order to foster integration into the host society, it is crucial that the actors working with asylum seekers and migrants can effectively deal with ethnic, linguistic, religious and cultural diversity, and act as bridge-builder between cultures and value-systems.

Migrant and Refugee Support for Cultivating Inter-cultural Competences (@MigrationSpotlight) is a transnational project which is funded by the European programme Erasmus+ and carried out between November 2018 and November 2020. The 5 partners from 5 EU member states (Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus and Greece) strive to enhance inter-cultural competences in people working with refugees and migrants in their countries by using innovative teaching and learning approaches.
